Responsibilities
As a Welder or Fabricator, your main responsibilities will include:
For Welders:
- Performing Welding Tasks:
- Use TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), MIG (Metal Inert Gas), or ARC welding techniques to join metal components.
- Ensure that all welding work meets the required standards for strength and durability.
- Quality Control:
- Inspect welded surfaces for defects, ensuring that all welds meet the required specifications and quality standards.
- Perform post-welding inspections to ensure the integrity of the structure.
- Safety Compliance:
- Follow all health and safety regulations during the welding process to ensure the safety of yourself and your coworkers.
- Properly handle welding tools and materials.
- Maintenance of Equipment:
- Maintain welding tools and machines to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Report any equipment issues to the supervisor for repair or replacement.
For Fabricators:
- Fabricating Components:
- Use your expertise to fabricate pipes and structural components based on blueprints and project requirements.
- Ensure the correct materials are used for each fabrication task.
- Assembly:
- Assemble fabricated components according to project specifications.
- Work closely with engineers and other team members to ensure the structure is sound and meets all requirements.
- Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, including materials used, time spent, and any challenges faced during the project.

- Team Collaboration:

Qualifications
To be considered for any of these positions, the following qualifications are required:
- For Welders:
- Experience with TIG, MIG, or ARC welding techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with welding equipment and tools.
